We recently had the huge honour of being asked to create a video for Mxit!
Mxit is arguably Africa’s greatest startup success story, having grown from a simple instant messaging app into the continent’s biggest social network (with an estimated 50 million users and counting!) Mxit has changed the lives of an untold number of South Africans (particularly the youth), and it continues to provide affordable messaging to those who appreciate it the most! This video was designed to get that message across, as well as to highlight some of the amazing new features Mxit has in store.
Our biggest challenge in making this explainer lay in trying to package the wide array of Mxit features into a single short video. “What can’t Mxit do?!” was a frequent refrain throughout the production process, and we still rue having to omit an untold number of the cool features on offer in the interests of brevity. If you find yourself dazzled by what Mxit can do, you’re not alone!
Anyway, we had a lot of fun making this one, and we’re in no doubt that Mxit is set to go from strength to strength!
